“Yes,” is a small, yet powerful word. “Yes”, began my Christ Child Society membership. Volunteer service opportunities and subsequent “yesses” have resulted in amazing experiences. My service has given me gifts: awareness, gratitude, friendships, and perspective. I have been honored to serve my CCS chapter and I look forward to the opportunity of service, on the NCCS Board; as we challenge poverty, one child at a time.”
Jane Larsen serves on the 2020 - 2022 National Christ Child Society Board as the Recording Secretary.
As a member of the Toledo Chapter, since 2008, Jane has served as Membership Chair, Community Outreach Co-Chair, Chapter President, Immediate Past-President Parliamentarian, Nominating Chair, and is currently Community Outreach Chair.
Professionally, Jane earned a degree in Arts and Sciences from the University of Toledo, majoring in Anthropology. Professional work experience focused on Quality Assurance management in plastics manufacturing. Quality Assurance management included interfacing with Quality Inspectors, manufacturing , personnel and understanding customer’s specifications and expectations.
Jane has volunteered on several non-profit boards in the Toledo community. She served on the Financial Development Committee for the American Cancer Society for 3 years and was the Volunteer Gift Shop Manager for the Flower Hospital Auxiliary, for 16 years. Over the past 17 years, Jane served on the Family and Child Abuse Prevention Center Board, in a variety of offices.
