“Challenging Poverty: One Child at a Time is a phrase that, I feel, everyone should take to heart. I love that many of Christ Child Society’s programs work to break the cycle of poverty by empowering children through literacy, meeting physical needs, and recognizing the dignity of the individual. I’m looking forward to working with the National Christ Child Society Board to learn even more about how Chapters across the country are facing this challenge.”
Becky serves on the 2020-2022 National Christ Child Society Board as a Vice President, as well as on the Development, Finance and Communications committees.
She has been a member of the Pasadena Chapter since 2003, and has held multiple positions including Service Programs Co-Chair, Provisional Co-Chair, Treasurer, President-Elect/Vice President of Programs, President, Past-President/Nominating Chair, and National Day of Service Chair.
Becky holds a B.A. in Environmental Health and Safety Studies and started an environmental consulting firm. She retired early to focus on raising their two daughters with husband, Jim. During this time, she has also volunteered with several charities, club teams, and school boards.
