Patty Myler, Historian, Washington, DC

Patty served on the National Christ Child Board for ten years. She held the positions of Immediate Past President, National President, President-Elect, Vice President and Secretary.  She has now taken on the position of NCCS Historian and serves on the Society’s Canonization Advisory Board.

Patty has been an active member of the Washington Chapter since 1980.  As a member of the Washington Chapter she served as a Board member for 3 three-year terms, chaired the Chapter’s Camp Committee for 15 years and chaired and assisted with a number of fundraising events for the Chapter. Patty has received both the Washington Chapter’s “Volunteer Cum Laude” and “Mary Virginia Merrick” awards.

Patty retired in 2013, after working for 20 years as the Facilities Director at Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart.  She is a member of Blessed Sacrament parish in Washington, DC, which was founder Mary Virginia Merrick’s parish.  There she serves on the Parish Council and the Buildings & Grounds Committee and is also a Lector, a Eucharistic Minister and an Arimathean.
